Fable Baby Bonnet

The Fable Baby Bonnet is knitted in stockinette stitch with a leaf motif. It has a snug fit and ties under the chin. It has a snug fit and I-Cord ties. It pairs beautifully with the Fable Pants and Fable Baby Jacket.

Gauge: 27 stitches in stockinette stitch on 3 mm needles = 10 cm
Needles: Double-pointed needles and circular needle, size 3 mm
Other materials: Elastic for the waistband (for matching pants)

The entire pattern is worked using 3 mm needles. The bonnet is first knitted back and forth, with a leaf motif in the center and stockinette stitch on the sides. Then it is worked in the round on double-pointed needles with decreases toward the back of the head. Stitches are picked up along the jawline/neck, followed by a ribbed edge and finally two i-cord ties.
